Real Estate

Like so many other communities in Southern Utah, LaVerkin has experienced a recent boom in the real estate market.  LaVerkin city offers real estate options from commercial property to residental land and homes.

Residential homes currently range in price from $100,000 to $500,000, with land prices averaging $108,000 for a building lot.  There are new subdivisions under development as well as established neighborhoods with older homes.  LaVerkin has one elementary school with plans to build another.  The secondary schools are located in the adjacent community of Hurricane, Utah.  There are churches of various denominations in the community as well.

LaVerkin City sits in an area that is considered by many as the vacationing crossroads of Southern Utah.  State Route 17 and State Route 9 intersects in LaVerkin and carries commuters traveling to and from Zion National Park, Grand Canyon National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park.  It is estimated that this intersection sees 6.2 million cars a year.  There are ample opportunities along these routes to develop commercial businesses in LaVerkin.
