Due to a large break in the main transmission line that feeds La Verkin and Hurricane irrigation water, the Washington County Water Conservancy District (WCWCD), took the water out of the line Sunday afternoon, March 29. WCWCD hopes to access the break by late Tuesday afternoon, March 31, and will then estimate a timeline for repair, and getting the water back into the line. They do not have a date yet as to when irrigation water will be flowing for residents and businesses. Information will be posted as the city receives it.
